5 Easy Health & Beauty Recipes Using Lavender

I don’t know about you all, but I hold lavender dear. The color, the shape, the delicacy, the scent, the symbolism, not to mention the health benefits—I love it (in fact, I even have it tattooed on my body ;) ). The smell of lavender can cause relaxation and even deeper sleep.

Technically these could be smudge stick bundles…but I find smudge sticks to be a bit problematic so I prefer to think of this DIY as lavender bundles instead.

Anyway, these are super easy, beautiful, and smell amazing.

I hate buying perfume, though I love applying a scent in the morning. It makes me feel glamorous. This recipe allows me to smell good and natural without spending $50+ on a high end perfume.

Soap is my favorite. Lavender soap = even better. Such an easy, inexpensive recipe that yields enough soap for weeks.

Have you ever cleaned your mattress? Yeah, me neither. In fact, I never even thought about it until I stumbled across this diy. When you think about it, you’re mattress is probably pretty gnarly so it’s surprising we’ve never been taught to clean that sucker. Luckily, this recipe is easy and cost effective so that you no longer have to sleep on a nest of dead skin cells and god knows what.
